Default SoO torch runner

I attend alot of SoO runs and find that the runner has a hard time finding a Perma somtimes. They are in such high demand for runs so I somtimes run the torch with my derv but have to wait untill the monk clears the path. I was wondering if using a D/A running build with VoS would work just as well. I was thinking maybe somthing like the unstoppable Droks runner build on wiki.

maybe taking out the shadow stepping and putting extra healing but since i have never run the tourch in HM with out the path being cleared first Im not sure if body blocking is an issue or not. Im not looking to replace perma's but would like to help speed the run up if no perma is availble. Any input would be much appreciated.

the perma's job in SoO is really just level 1; running to the next level.

levels 2/3 or "running the torch" can be done with any class, most permas like to outrun the monks and go ahead (bored) but you really dont have to and can just follow the monk with it.. all you really need here is a running skill.

now, VoS would work just fine with +armor rather than heals.. wanding/phys dmg is too high in HM to outheal it.

my advice is to run "Drunken Master" somewhere in the build and you should be fine as far as running goes.. with that, you can test other D/E or D/Me builds for + armor.
